Recipe | Salted Caramel Bliss Balls with a Turmeric Twist (GF and Vegan)

SERVES :  20 Bliss balls (approx.)

PREP TIME: 5 MINS

TOTAL TIME: 25 MINS

INGREDIENTS

1 cup pitted dates (Medjool)

1  cup cashews (mixture of both Almonds and Cashews works well too)

1 tsp of Golden grind Latte blend

1/4 cup of Coconut flour

2 tbls Tahini or sub with nut butter such as PB or Almond butter

1 tbls Mesquite powder

1 tsp of Vanilla bean/extract

1/2 tsp Himalayan salt

METHOD

Add all dry ingredients Cashews/almonds, Coconut flour, Golden blend and salt to a food processor and blitz until it forms into a fine crumble. Add dates, Tahini (or nut butter) and pulse until a sticky dough is formed, and it all comes together into a ball.

Using a tablespoon or cookie dough scooper, divide into bite-sized portions about 30 g

Note: I find it easiest to portion out the mixture, and leave the rolling of each ball until the very end instead of rolling each individually.

Using your hands, roll into bite-sized balls, and then to coat, roll in sesame seeds.
