  • 1tbs ground flax
  • 3tbs water
  • 1 cup soy milk
  • 1tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2tbs sugar
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1tsp matcha powder
  • oil


  1. Prepare flax egg: in a bowl, whisk together flax and water.
  2. Prepare buttermilk: in another bowl, whisk together soy milk and apple cider vinegar.
  3. In a medium bowl, mox the rest together.
  4. Stir everything until well incorporated.
